Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School is an innovative, progressive, R&D school that prepares students to succeed in the global economy. Students at the Academy experience integrated learning within a balanced curriculum of the sciences, humanities, and arts. The result is an inquiry-based, individualized learning experience that positions students to succeed in many career fields. The Academy's curriculum integration follows best practices in Problem/Project-Based Learning (PBL), Mastery development, Restorative Practices, and 21st-century skills. These models place the focus on learning over merely teaching. Teachers guide students to work together, apply knowledge, and innovate solutions to problems. Students develop 21st-century skills and competencies needed to excel in the whole range of professions—not just those in the sciences and math—and demonstrate academic achievement, curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, inventiveness, a strong sense of community readiness for their futures. Qualifications:
- Current Ohio licensure or willingness to secure one through an alternative pathway
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree

Physical Requirements:
