Join Our Team of Experienced Elementary Tutors for Grades K-6!
iAchieve Learning, Chicago's premier tutoring company, is experiencing rapid growth and seeks proficient and dedicated EXPERIENCED ELEMENTARY TUTORS for math, reading and writing for grades K-6. Are you passionate about guiding others, making a meaningful impact, and enjoying a flexible schedule? At iAchieve Learning, we are searching for highly qualified elementary tutors to provide personalized instruction in students' homes and local libraries.
The ideal candidate would be either a current elementary school teacher, a past elementary school teacher, or someone who has had extensive experience working with or teaching students at this level.
Our ideal candidates possess extensive experience in:
- Grades K-6
- Elementary Math skills
- Elementary Reading skills
- Elementary Writing skills
- Able to tutor in all subjects and all grades (some students may want reading/math help or reading/writing help)
Service Areas: We cater to students primarily in the following cities:
Des Plaines, Glenview, Mt. Prospect, and Park Ridge.
If you are prepared to meet in person and can regularly travel to the specified cities, we encourage you to apply!
Important: Only candidates who live in these cities, can meet in-person, and answer all required questions will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized tutoring sessions for elementary students in grades K-6, focusing on math and literacy education.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively explain concepts and ensure student comprehension.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Incorporate writing skills into lessons to enhance literacy development.
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to support student learning and academic growth.
What We Require from You/Essential Criteria:
- Submit a current resume.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.

- Demonstrate at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience.
- A clean, criminal background check.
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week for an entire academic year
- Confirm your ability to travel to the designated service areas.
