JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing guidance and support to the EES supervisory staff, including adherence to Tenet Standards of Conduct and supervision of all hiring, training and personnel actions. Ensures that Patient Financial Services (PFS) collection and assignment goals are met. Responsible for responding to and serving as a central point of contact for facility administration. Promotes relationships with clients and governmental agencies with which the department interacts. Also responsible for the P&L for assigned regions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews inventory for quality assurance. Works with supervisors to ensure all areas of region are meeting expectations for eligibility, collections/assignments.
  • Acts as liaison for facility CFOs and BOMs, conducts presentations and provides updated reports, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitors operational/automation issues for all facilities within region.
  • Writes and implements policy and procedural changes as needed.
  • Completes weekly/monthly reporting processes to corporate and individual facilities.
  • Ensures regional adherence to Tenet Standards of Conduct.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Intermediate knowledge of hospital A/R processes
  • Advanced knowledge of government programs eligibility and billing processes
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Intermediate writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with efficiency

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or equivalent experience
  • 5 – 7 years experience in Healthcare Administration or Business Office
  • 2 – 3 years supervisory experience preferred

Compensation and Benefit Information

Compensation

  • Pay: $81,952.00 - $122,907.00 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
  • Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level.
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
