Position Summary
Frederick Primary Care Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology to join our well-established and respected practice. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a patient-centered approach to care.
This role requires an active Maryland NP license, board certification, Maryland CDS registration, and a current DEA certificate.
Key Responsibilities

Independently assess and manage patients, in collaboration with supervising physician

Assist with acute and chronic endocrine care management

Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations

Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate

Order and interpret laboratory and imaging results

Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans

Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care

Support practice-wide clinical goals and quality improvement initiatives
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and board certification

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Proficient with technology and comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)

Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
