What You’ll Do
As an Engineering Associate I–II, you’ll join our Site Development Team working on diverse projects—from commercial pad sites to large-scale master-planned communities. You’ll contribute to the design of public and private infrastructure and gain experience in every stage of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of streets, drainage, water, wastewater, grading, and erosion control systems
- Support plan and report development across multiple project phases
- Conduct site visits and help with construction observation and contract administration
- Prepare calculations, CAD drawings, cost estimates, and design specifications
- Work with senior engineers, project managers, and other design professionals
- Participate in internal and external coordination meetings
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools like HEC-RAS, StormCAD, and XPSWMM
- Research municipal codes and development regulations
- Help with feasibility studies and preliminary site assessments
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or Environmental Engineering from a U.S. accredited institution (required)
- E.I.T. Certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 1–2+ years of experience in civil engineering (internships, co-ops, and project experience count!)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with stormwater modeling tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM) is a plus
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to do local travel/site visits
