We offer a 9/80 work schedule where you can have every other Friday off. Essential duties and responsibilities
You will have an important role in the day-to-day operations supporting various product lines to ensure minimal down time. You will work closely with the technical and manufacturing teams directly contributing to the success of the organization. You will be involved primarily in troubleshooting of electronic products that are not passing various requirements during acceptance testing.
Some of the troubleshooting tasks you will be counted on to complete regularly are as follows:
- Using schematics and other design documentation to troubleshoot electronic circuits
- Performing detailed visual inspections for
- General workmanship and solder acceptability per IPC-610
- Component locations and orientations
- Proper wiring
- Setting up and executing acceptance tests to duplicate the problem identified
- Taking electrical measurements and analyzing the results
- Determining root cause
- Reviewing findings with the manufacturing and engineering teams
- Documenting steps taken and what was discovered
QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to read and understand circuit board schematics and layouts
- Familiarity with common electronic components (transistors, capacitors, resistors, inductors, diodes, regulators, and op-amps) and how to test these devices.
- Advanced capability using all types of electronic test and measurement equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators and spectrum analyzers.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated success in working in a team-based environment
Education and Experience
- Technical degree desired but not required
- 5 years minimum experience troubleshooting electronic circuits
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Due to federal contract obligations, must be a US Person in accordance with ITAR.
Compensation
$25 - $30 per hour
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
