Our center is offering after-school tutoring programs from elementary, middle and / or to high school students.
Open Position:
- We seek enthusiastic, reliable part-time teacher for English Reading & Writing for after-school tutoring program from elementary, middle and /or to high school students at our business in San Diego.
Qualification and other conditions:
- Must have English teaching / tutoring experience (more than 1 year)
- Your English skill (writing and reading) has to be at least proficient
- Able to work well and to be patient with children
- At least 12 months commitment
- Please submit resume
- Teaching certification is a plus
- Debate experience is a plus
- Center Operation Hour: Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Essential Job Functions:
- Tutor 1-4 students in a class
- Be knowledgeable of our Center curriculum and follow our policies with regards to tutoring
- Monitor and record student progress on a daily basis as well and conduct summative "checks" on the lesson on the lesson objectives taught that week
- Notify Supervisor immediately if student(s) fail to show progress
- Must be able to participate in the planning, organization, implementation and coordination of individual pupil and/or client programs.
- A team player, detail-oriented, flexible, consistent and reliable, able to work under only minimal supervision and willing to work with multiple staff.
