Job Description:
The Enrollment Coordinator will manage the Chalon Admission Office and work closely with the Undergraduate Admission staff in enrolling qualified students. Primary responsibilities will focus on Chalon campus visitors and supporting the admission of first-year and international students. This position reports to the Director of First-Year Recruitment & Enrollment and works closely with key support offices.
Work Location: Chalon Campus (West Los Angeles). Remote work available 1-2 days per week.

Position Hourly Rate Range: $19.32 - $21.10
Hiring salary can be above the posted pay range if candidate's qualifications are determined to be above the minimum requirements of the position description.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides remarkable service to all visitors and callers to the Office of Undergraduate Admission, Chalon. This includes answering general questions pertaining to Mount Saint Mary's University and admission requirements for all programs; directing visitors and calls to appropriate staff; scheduling appointments and tours; and maintaining the overall appearance/functionality of the Office of Admission.
- Hires, trains, and supervises student workers in partnership with the Admission Team on the Chalon campus.
- Supports all undergraduate recruitment and enrollment efforts
- This includes providing on-going tour guide training of Chalon student workers in tandem with the Admission Team and Doheny Enrollment Coordinator.
- Contacts new inquiries to determine programs of interest and provide application support.
- Follows up with First-Year applicants via phone, text, and email to complete application files.
- Serves as liaison between applicant and first-year admission counselors, and with the transfers as needed.
- Supports first-year admission counselors with recruitment travel planning and communication. Managing the college fair inbox and organization of college fairs.
- Interacts in a professional manner with a variety of on- and off-campus colleagues who have an impact on prospective students (e.g. Financial Aid Office and high schools).
- Participates in Office of Undergraduate Admission events throughout the year including various weekend events.
- Continuously seek new knowledge of and familiarity with MSMU programs, admission policies, and enrollment goals.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Admission team.
- Manages room reservations and logistics for departmental meetings, including taking minutes at staff meetings and retreats as needed.
- Weekend and/or evening work will be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge:
- General knowledge of undergraduate admission and higher education, including the difference among Associate of Arts, Baccalaureate, and adult program degrees.
- Enrollment management and data systems knowledge/experience a plus, particularly Slate.
- Understanding of financial aid policies and procedures helpful.
Abilities and Skills:
- Excellent organization and prioritization, customer service, oral/written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortably speak to groups and individuals from many different backgrounds and quickly build rapport.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and follow through to completion.

- Spanish fluency beneficial.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally from a small private liberal arts institution
Experience:
- Minimum two years of experience working in an office environment with substantial phone and interpersonal interaction.
- Preference given to candidates with prior experience in higher education settings
