Cimarron is seeking an Enterprise IT Architecture and Engineering Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
Key Duties:
- Lead the Enterprise IT Architecture and Engineering team.
- Mentor a team of architects and engineers in coordination with the Lead Architect across various engineering disciplines.
- Manage the full engineering lifecycle, guiding the team and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, complex IT capabilities on time and within budget.
- Oversee the development and integration of new IT capabilities into the Missile Defense Agency’s enterprise network, including applications, cybersecurity, cloud services, network and service infrastructure, and end user services.
- Manage technical scope, schedule, and budget using earned value management approaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and mission assurance, business, operations, and customer stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and roadblocks.
- Effectively and proactively manage risk.
- Manage resources across multiple capability development activities.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (ex., Security+).
- 12 or more years of general, full-time work experience.
- 9 or more years of related full-time experience in an Engineering discipline.
- 5 or more years of full-time experience as an Engineering Manager.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an Engineering discipline and/or Engineering Management.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with cloud technologies.
