We are looking to fill immediate positions for an Entry Level Account Manager. This is a full time position and in person. Our schedule is Monday - Friday 1030A - 7P. Top candidates are outgoing, motivated, eager to learn and excited for new opportunities!
Key Responsibilities
As an entry-level account manager, your main focus will be building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your day-to-day tasks will likely include:
- Client Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their questions, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Sales Support: Assisting the sales team with tasks like generating leads, creating presentations, and helping with the sales cycle from start to finish.
- Account Maintenance: Handling administrative duties, such as updating client information in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, processing orders, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving any client issues or concerns, often by collaborating with other internal teams.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
A "student mentality" is a great way to approach this role, as it emphasizes being eager to learn, adaptable, and a good listener. Here are the most important skills you'll need to succeed:
- Communication Skills: You'll need to be an excellent listener and a clear communicator, both in writing and in person. This is crucial for understanding client needs and building trust.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: You'll face challenges and need to think on your feet to find effective solutions for clients while also maintaining a positive company image.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Juggling multiple client accounts and internal tasks requires strong organizational skills to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Relationship Building: This is the core of the job. You should be a "people person" who can develop and nurture long-term relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: While you don't need to be a coding expert, you should be comfortable with basic computer skills and willing to learn new software, especially CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Many positions prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, but having relevant experience in customer service, retail, or sales can also be a significant advantage.
