Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters with the installation of structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Help with heavy lifting and transporting materials to job sites.
- Assist in electrical installations under the supervision of qualified personnel.
- Fabricate wooden structures or components based on project plans.
- Assist with tile laying for flooring and wall installations.
- Assist with the install of cabnetry
- Assist with all framing, siding and more.
- Help with door hanging and installation tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or knowledge in carpentry or construction is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is beneficial.
- Skills in fabricating wooden components or structures are desirable.
- Experience in tile laying techniques is preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to carpentry.
