Position: Entry-Level Tooling Technician
Location: LaGrange, GA 30240 (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Overtime and weekends may be required)

Position Summary
SANGWOO PRECISION USA, INC. is a precision manufacturing company specializing in the resharpening, design, and production of cutting tools such as drills, end mills, and reamers.
This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in various production tasks, including tool classification, machine operation support, quality measurement, packaging, and administrative assistance.
The role offers more than just basic support duties - it is an opportunity to gain practical skills in tool grinding, CNC machine operation, tool measurement, and production documentation.
New hires will receive structured on-the-job training and, over time, may take on more specialized technical and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Tool Classification and Inventory Handling
- Sort and organize incoming cutting tools (drills, end mills, reamers) by type and brand
- Assist with scheduling and prioritization of resharpening tasks
Basic Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance on key equipment such as CNC grinders (ANCA), broach machines, and air compressors
- Tasks include oil refilling, filter replacement, and moisture drainage
Tool Resharpening Assistance
- Support the setup and basic operation of tool grinders under the supervision of experienced operators
- Assist in modifying tool dimensions and geometries per engineering drawings
Tool Inspection and Quality Check
- Use ZOLLER measuring equipment to inspect tool dimensions after resharpening
- Record data and report any measurements that fall outside of tolerances
General Production Support
- Assist with processes such as broaching, EDM, and material cutting
- Support material handling and basic machine setup for daily operations
Packaging and Delivery Preparation
- Apply laser markings and labels to finished tools
- Package products and prepare shipments according to delivery schedules
Administrative and Cross-Departmental Support
- Prepare basic documentation such as work logs, inventory records, and delivery receipts
- Assist with office tasks including purchase requests, invoices, and email follow-up
- Depending on operational needs, provide support to other departments in administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (no specific major required)
- Interest in manufacturing, production, or hands-on technical work
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, email)
- Note: On-the-job training will be provided; prior experience is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Familiarity with CNC machines or measurement tools
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Working knowledge of basic office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred, but not required
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant)
- Must be able to relocate to LaGrange, GA or reside within a reasonable commuting distance
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
- Typical weekly schedule: 42.5 hours (subject to business needs)
