We are building an innovative, collaborative team who will help shape the future of care at Med Center Health. The Epic Clinical Informaticist, RPh role will support both the initial implementation and the continued maintenance and optimization of Epic following go-live.

Position Summary
The Epic Clinical Informaticist, RPh is responsible for implementing, configuring, testing, and supporting Epic applications across Med Center Health. The role works closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure Epic is aligned with organizational needs and standard workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with pharmacy leaders and clinical staff to assess workflow needs and translate them into Epic system configuration.
- Builds, configures, and tests pharmacy-related Epic modules, including medication ordering, dispensing, administration, and clinical decision support.
- Develops and delivers training materials for pharmacy users, supporting adoption of best-practice workflows.
- Provides post-go-live support and optimization, ensuring medication-related processes remain accurate, efficient, and safe.
- Monitors system usage and medication data quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Maintains accurate documentation of changes, workflows, and compliance-related processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of oncology pharmacy practice experience required; experience in clinical informatics, EHR systems, or pharmacy IT preferred.
- License: Active pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky required.
- Certification: Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred; Epic training and certification will be provided at no cost in exchange for a 2-year work commitment.
