Position Overview:
As our Equipment Rental Associate, you’ll be the go-to person at the rental counter, helping customers with their equipment needs and providing guidance on our wide range of heavy equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and other construction equipment. If you enjoy problem-solving, interacting with customers, and have a solid understanding of construction equipment, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the counter with their equipment rental needs
- Recommend the right equipment based on customers’ projects
- Handle rental agreements and maintain accurate records
- Explain equipment operation basics and safety guidelines to customers
- Process payments, returns, and ensure equipment is ready for rental
- Perform basic maintenance checks on returned equipment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with heavy equipment like skid steers, excavators, and other construction machinery
- Basic computer skills to process rentals and maintain inventory
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
