Job Description: We’re seeking a full-time Emergency Room Nurse Manager to join our team at Jefferson Hospital.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care and department performance.
- Manage staffing and scheduling.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate from a state approved school of nursing
- BSN or MSN preferred
- Licensed RN in the state of Georgia
- BLS, ACLS and PALS
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
