Our projects span a diverse range of sectors from public infrastructure and commercial facilities to specialty structural work and site improvements.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management, cost control, and project management principles. The Estimator will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts and ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Utilize Bluebeam and other estimating software to create detailed cost breakdowns.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimating purposes.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best pricing.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to clients.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices and principles.
- Familiarity with cost control methods and techniques.
- Proficient in using Bluebeam or similar estimating software.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Pay dependent upon experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
