About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior ETL Developer – SSIS/Azure Data Tools. The ETL Developer will be involved in developing solutions for enterprise data warehousing (EDW), reporting, and business intelligence (SSIS/SSRS) initiatives. This role includes working with business users and development teams to collect, analyze, and document requirements. The developer is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and scheduling ETL programs to support enterprise and reporting data warehouses.
Our ideal candidate is experienced with data collection and visualization tools and has hands-on expertise in end-to-end development using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database Services, Data Lake, and MS SQL.
What You Will Do
- Understand technical requirements and develop data models usable by users and efficient for ETLs
- Design and develop ETL workflows from heterogeneous data sources and create dashboards for scalable, refreshable reporting
- Perform impact analysis of changes in upstream processes on the data warehouse and reporting systems
- Support analysts with data queries and dashboard development for business decision-making and performance monitoring
- Create technical documentation including design specs, data flow diagrams, and support documentation
- Follow development standards, time tracking, and change management processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes in production
What You Will Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure Data Factory (strongly preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in software application development, information technology, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL frameworks
- Strong MS SQL query skills
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
- ERP knowledge (SAP, Syspro, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Strong verbal communication and team collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
