Job Summary: The Events Host at Arcade Time Entertainment is the ambassador of fun and hospitality for our private events, parties, and group experiences. This role ensures that each event — from birthday celebrations to corporate gatherings — is executed flawlessly, with a focus on guest engagement, smooth coordination, and memorable experiences. The Events Host works closely with the Events Manager, F&B, and Arcade teams to deliver exceptional service that reflects our brand promise: Play – Win – Eat – Drink.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome event guests, ensuring a friendly and enthusiastic first impression.
- Confirm event details with the organizer upon arrival, including schedules, menus, activities, and special requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams (F&B, Arcade, Maintenance, Security) to ensure event spaces are set up on time and meet brand standards.
- Lead guests through the event itinerary, including game card distribution, food service, and activity coordination.
- Maintain continuous communication with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and as ordered.
- Assist with décor setup, signage placement, and overall presentation of the event space.
- Troubleshoot guest concerns on the spot, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure game cards, redemption items, and promotional materials are stocked and ready for events.
- Promote upsell opportunities, such as additional game time, premium food items, or extended event hours.
- Maintain accurate records of event attendance, extra purchases, and guest feedback.
- Oversee cleanup and reset of event spaces to ensure readiness for the next booking.
- Represent Arcade Time Entertainment with energy, professionalism, and a passion for creating unforgettable moments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event hosting, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests of all ages.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt quickly to changing event needs.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and providing instructions in a clear, engaging manner.
- Attention to detail to ensure all event elements are executed as planned.
- Basic POS and cash handling experience a plus.
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required for events.
Work Schedule: Position requires availability during peak event times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as part of a 24/7 entertainment operation. Shifts will vary based on scheduled events.
