The Executive Director - IT Transformation Office reports to the CTO and leads the IT strategic planning and prioritization, IT finance budgeting and tracking, and IT project delivery services. You will oversee a team managing complex initiatives across multiple portfolios, aligning them with our organizational goals and ensuring disciplined use of industry best-in-class frameworks, data, and tools.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate strategic planning and prioritization, helping the organization invest where it matters most.
- Manage demand intake, capacity planning, and budget forecasting across portfolios.
- Support capital planning and benefits realization tracking, ensuring strategic ROI.
- Contribute to IT and business strategic planning and ensure alignment with execution.
- Design and lead the portfolio management operating model, including roles, workflows, and standards.
- Define and evolve the PMO roadmap to ensure continuous improvement of the portfolio management practice.
- Champion the standardization of PPM methodologies, tools, processes, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
- Build out portfolio-level analytics that clearly communicate progress, risk, and outcomes to all levels of leadership.
- Provide coaching and training to strengthen the PMO team and improve project and portfolio management capability across the organization.
- A structured mindset that can drive both the big picture and detailed execution.
- Proven experience with complex change initiatives and enterprise prioritization.
- Comfort influencing and communicating across executive and delivery teams alike.
- Track record of business success (e.g. increasing revenue, reducing cost, integrating businesses, etc.)
- 5+ years in program, project, and portfolio leadership—you’ve led at scale.
- 5+ years applying portfolio governance, delivery methodologies, and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile frameworks, ITIL).
- 5+ years of leading application development, infrastructure and/or data/analytics teams.
- Bonus: IT Finance Management (e.g. budgeting, cost center management, capital planning, etc.) experience.
- Bonus: Healthcare industry experience and strategic planning exposure.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $149,706-$220,059, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
