Overview
Liddane Tutoring & Learning Services (LTLS) is hiring an Executive Function Tutor and Academic Tutor to provide one-on-one, individualized support to elementary, middle, and high school students. This is a part-time, flexible role ideal for educators with a background in executive functioning, academic support, or special education.
We offer in-person sessions in our Green Lake and Columbia City offices and remote sessions as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Support students in developing executive function skills like organization, time management, and task initiation
- Provide tutoring and and help with study skills across various academic subjects
- Collaborate with families and, when appropriate, schools
- Write professional session notes and student updates
- Commit to working with each student consistently through the school year
- Participate in paid training, mentorship, and professional development
Requirements
- Experience working one-on-one with students in tutoring sessions
- Background in education, special education, counseling, or a related field
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to support students with ADHD, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual tutoring platforms
- Available for after-school and/or weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with executive functioning tutoring or academic support
- Familiarity with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and similar learning profiles
- Skilled at adapting communication styles for students, families, and school professionals
- Passion for social-emotional learning and student empowerment
