Responsibilities
- Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared according to specifications and dietary requirements.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor the quality of dishes before they leave the kitchen, ensuring presentation meets company standards.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support culinary staff during busy service periods by assisting with various tasks as required.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and guests.
- A background in customer service will be an advantage, particularly in high-volume settings.
- Experience with banquet service or large-scale food preparation is a plus but not required.
