Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems and security solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems, computer networking, and the ability to work with power tools. The Alarm Technician will ensure that all security systems are functioning optimally and provide exceptional service to our clients.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair security alarm systems, including fire alarms and surveillance equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot issues related to alarm systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements.
- Utilize cabling techniques to connect various components of alarm systems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, services performed, and customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in security technology to offer the best solutions to clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the security or alarm system industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with security system sales is a plus.
- Proficiency in cabling, locksmithing, and working with power tools is essential.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to alarm systems is highly desirable.
- Experience working with low voltage systems is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,335.00 per year
