Duties:
- Assist carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Operate CNC machines to fabricate wood components
- Install siding and trim on buildings
- Assist with building and hanging doors
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction
- Assist with roof installation and repair
- Perform frame carpentry work as directed by the carpenter
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Basic knowledge of construction estimating is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
