We are looking for experienced Drain Techs to join our team and help us maintain and improve our high standards of service. Starting pay is based on hourly rate, plus commissions paid on sold and completed work.
As a Drain Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing drain issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of drainage systems. You must have advanced knowledge and experience in drain cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair.
Our shop is based at 631 Bullis Rd, Elma, NY 14059. The hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or until the job is completed. Some late starts and weekends may be required. No overnight shifts.
Key Tasks
- Diagnose and repair clogged drains, sewer lines, and other plumbing drain issues.
- Perform drain cleaning using various tools and equipment, including drain snakes, jetters, and video inspection cameras.
- Accurately assess and document drain and sewer line conditions
- Provide clear and concise explanations of diagnoses and repair options to your customer
- Maintain and organize company vehicles and equipment
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork, including work orders and invoices
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships.

REQUIREMENTS
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain and show value in maintenance plans
- Must have at least 2 years experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving drain and sewer line, and light plumbing problems
- Ability to operate all specialized tools, including snakes and jetters
- Have, and maintain, tools for the Drain Technician position
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50#'s)
- Have, and maintain, a valid NYS Driver's License, with the ability to meet our carrier's insurance requirements
- High integrity, with advanced social skills, and the ability to make solid connections
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- ServiceTitan experience a plus
- Junior Sewerman or Junior Journeyman licensing a plus
