LOCATION: Fullerton, CAPay Range: $90k-100k DOESCHEDULE: Hybrid/ WFH (M/W/F) ABOUT US:We are a 3PL (Third Party Logistics) provider that helps optimize an efficient end-to-end solution for our customers with expertise in high quality cargo handling. We have multiple warehouse locations in North America, including a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and bonded warehouse. What You’ll Do:
- Take the helm of export operations, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws and U.S. regulations (EAR, OFAC, ITAR, etc.).
- Lead and mentor a team, managing performance, shipping schedules, and day-to-day execution of export shipments.
- Create and maintain SOPs for import/export processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Prepare and manage export documentation, including licenses and classifications (CCATS, product classifications, etc.).
- Serve as the point of contact for government agencies on all import/export control matters.
- Conduct internal audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments to ensure bulletproof operations.
- Maintain electronic records for traceability and reporting.
- Take charge of our FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) operations and reporting requirements.
- Deliver performance reports and drive continuous improvement across the department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7–10 years of experience in a 3PL or international logistics environment
- 3–5 years in a leadership or management role
- Deep knowledge of US Customs Bonds, ACE reporting, FTZ, CTPAT, additional tariff requirements, OGA’s, ACH, and all other related trade legislation, rules, and regulations.
- A strategic thinker with razor-sharp attention to detail and the ability to lead under pressure
- Builds rapport with customer and committed to meeting customer expectations
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other digital tools
- A clear communicator, trusted team leader, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
