Summary
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Eye Designs New Albany. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our optometric practice by ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and assistance during their visits.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support the optometrists during examinations by preparing equipment and assisting with procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling phone inquiries.
- Ensure a clean and organized medical office environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or patient care setting is preferred.
- Previous sales experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
