Matrix Mirrors is an Atlanta based company that manufactures LED lighted mirrors. From its facility located in Norcross, Matrix Mirrors designs, fabricates, and ships products across the country. The company is new with ample opportunity for contribution and career growth.
The Matrix Mirrors Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, packing, and shipping products.
Specific Responsibilities:
-Measuring and cutting aluminum extrusions
-Operating machinery
-Moving, cleaning, and setting glass
-Inspecting for Quality
-Packaging Products
-Building wooden crates and pallets
General Responsibilities:
-Read and follow protocol, instructions, and policies.
-Practice good communication with team members and management to foster a safe and productive work environment.
-Learn new procedures and techniques and quickly apply them to jobs and tasks.
-Closely follow safety rules and regulations and work to enforce these policies.
-Be open to feedback from management while suggesting new ideas to improve operations.
Safety
-Must maintain sobriety and work in a drug-free work environment.
-Able show a good understanding of the specific safety requirements unique to each task and piece of equipment.
-Must know how to identify and report actual and potential safety hazards.
Physical Requirements
-Ability to lift weights up to and sometimes exceeding 50 pounds.
-Ability to spend prolonged periods standing, walking, lifting, and performing other arduous physical activities.
-Ability to operate equipment requiring some physical exertion.
-Ability to work in a warehouse environment with limited climate control and some exposure to minor irritants and dust that may require the additional use of safety equipment and clothing.
Minimum Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED
-3-5 years manufacturing experience
-Shipping and receiving experience
-Basic computer skills
-Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-Experience with drills, miter saws, circular saws, table saws, power sanders, and general hand tools
-Detail oriented
-Self starter
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bilingual Spanish/English
-Leadership skills
-Carpentry skills
