Stoney Creek is a 200 acre camp/retreat ceneter and we are looking to add to our maintenance & facilities crew.
The specific role and pay of this position will depend on applicants experience/skill set. The role will generally involve facilities repair and preventative maintenance, plus occasionally be involved with new construction of new buildings on property that we build in-house.
The ideal candidate has experience in some form of facilities maintenance, remodel/repair, handyman, and/or construction in general. Useful skills could include electrical, plumbing, irrigation, HVAC, small engine repair, and carpentry. Members of the facilities team will be involved in a large scope of work depending on needs of the facility as well as assigned schedule maintenance tasks. Must work well on a team as well as able to complete tasks independently. Must be able to solve problems, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their work. This is a full-time position (pay will be based on experience and demonstrated potential). Typical schedule is M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm with 15 days of PTO per year.
Willing to hire different skill sets depending on the applicant. Needs to be able to show up to work on time and consistently.
