Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a strong willingness to learn. This position involves various tasks related to the daily operations of the farm, including mowing, trimming, equipment operation, and general maintenance of farm facilities. The Farm Hand will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of farm activities while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
- Mowing, trimming, maintaining property
- Tree maintenance and cutting
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment, including tractors and mowers.
- Utilize power tools for various maintenance tasks around the farm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist with gardening tasks, including planting flowers, vegetables, and maintaining garden beds.
Experience
- Previous experience in farming or agricultural settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating and troubleshooting farm machinery.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with other staff members.
