We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team. This role involves working with fiber optic systems, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiber splicing, network installation, and field service, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform fiber splicing and termination for various telecommunication projects.
- Install and maintain network infrastructure including Calix routers.
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as an ohmmeter for testing and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations and repairs.

- Experience
- Proven experience in fiber splicing, network installation, and telecommunications is essential.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience will be beneficial for this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
