PublicWorks1 offers comprehensive pavement management services, including assessment, evaluation, and software for managing work, tracking data, and budgeting for city and county governments. We are looking for a great multitasker with strong project management and communication skills who is friendly, organized, and willing to spend significant time away from home. Applicants must be located near Logan, Utah, and be willing to travel 95% of the time to cities and counties across the U.S. and potentially Canada. Responsibilities include arranging travel, collecting GIS data for city and county governments, and assessing pavement. We are looking for someone eager to learn, and training on 360-degree imaging, GPS, and GIS will be provided.
Expectations:
- Full-time, exempt salaried position
- 95% travel (Typically Monday - Friday with occasional extended trips)
- Must be located near Logan, Utah
- The company will handle most travel arrangements, including transportation and lodging, which will be covered at no cost to you.
Responsibilities:
- Travel in an airplane or car for an extended period each week
- Travel around the United States using 360-degree imaging to map city and county assets
- Navigate city and county roads and provide instructions to the driver
- Occasionally communicate with city and county officials
- Manage and organize travel receipts and related details
- Show up on time and ready to work
Qualifications:
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to navigate and give directions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Compensation
- Salaried position of $45,000
- Bonus tied to completed jobs
- Per diem paid when traveling based on current GSA Rates
