The ideal candidate for the Field Installer position will have strong skills in the areas of fabrication, building and installation of displays, event properties and trade show assets, primarily built of wood, metal, plastics and composites. They will have an aptitude for operating basic hand tools, power tools and some specialty tools. The Field Installer will be able to follow detailed engineering drawings and site plans to execute high quality installations. A Field Installer will have the ability to lead labor crews to ensure projects and installations are completed on time and satisfy company and client expectations. This position will require travel to sites locally in the greater Seattle area, across the country and in limited cases Internationally. Responsibilities of this role also include pre-assembly, mock-up and other pre coordination work at our fabrication facility in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities and Duties
Project Coordination & Communication
- Maintain daily communication with Project Managers and key stakeholders regarding project status.
- Participate in internal project kickoffs and planning meetings to assess scope, workload, and logistics.
- Provide detailed event summary reports upon completion, including high-quality photos for internal and marketing use.
Field Installation & Technical Execution
- Install displays, exhibits, and tradeshow booth assets on-site per provided floorplans and project specifications.
- Assist in building and assembling components using BOMs, installation manuals, and work orders.
- Conduct proper low-voltage/electronic installations (e.g., monitors, A/V devices), as needed.
- Ensure show services and site logistics are executed according to contract and client expectations.
Inventory & Documentation
- Accurately transact inventory movements and material adjustments.
- Complete daily timecards and submit job-related documentation in a timely manner.
- Participate in warehouse operations during non-travel periods and assist with prep, staging, and production.
Problem Solving & Adaptability
- Troubleshoot on-site challenges and adapt to last-minute changes or client needs while maintaining project integrity.
- Exhibit initiative in resolving issues without escalation and support continuous process improvement in the field.
Technical Expertise
- Installation of displays, exhibits and tradeshow booth properties in the field, as required.
- Participate in the building of exhibits, using bills of material, engineered drawing packages and floorplans, contracting show services, transacting work orders, shipping requests, and travel authorizations in support of the project.
- Execute proper audio/video and low-voltage installations, including electronic devices, as required.
- Responsible for producing comprehensive event summary reports upon event completion by taking high quality photographs in a manner that depicts events’ success that informs the client and contributes to ImagiCorps’ marketing efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience:
- 2 - 4+ years of proven field installation experience
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and properly.
- Experience in light manufacturing, building and assembly.
- Experience in an event or trade show environment.
- Vinyl Graphics Installation skills are a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License, and clean driving record required.

- Exceed standard customer satisfaction levels.
Licenses / Certifications:
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Physical and Mental Requirement:
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
- Safely move about a manufacturing environment and continuous time on your feet.
Travel Requirement:
- Yes, travel is required within North America.
- Average travel may be up to 20% of the time, while peak summer months may increase the amount.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
