Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, hydraulics, and fabrication, along with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment in various field locations.
- Utilize electrical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues using tools such as voltmeters.
- Weld and fabricate components as necessary to ensure equipment functionality.
- Analyze system performance and conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Work with low voltage systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Document service activities accurately and maintain records of work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and low voltage applications.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters for troubleshooting.
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
