Overview:
As a Field Technician, you will measure, install and test products and provide customers with instructions on the proper usage of the product. Field Technicians will have to travel to our customers' homes or businesses to perform repairs. This role should have excellent technical and mechanical skills and have experience with basic hand power, diagnostic tools, and should be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment.
Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

As a Field Technician, you will measure, install and test products and provide customers with instructions on the proper usage of the product. Field Technicians will have to travel to our customers' homes or businesses to perform repairs. This role should have excellent technical and mechanical skills and have experience with basic hand power, diagnostic tools, and should be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment.
Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
- Conducting routine inspection and providing accurate measurements of doors, windows, tubs and showers.
- Providing timely and quality repairs of customers' products including, but not limited to - screen installation, sash replacement, glass replacement, hardware replacement, and seal repairs.
- Providing timely and quality repairs to Tub and Showers including, but not limited to- installing grab bars and shelves, adjusting showers, recaulking.
- Coordinating required return visits; conveying needed services, materials, and labor.
- Performing post-installation inspections.
- Promoting the company's services.
- Maintaining their technical and mechanical skills.
- Receiving and staging products being delivered to warehouse as well as keeping an organized and efficient warehouse
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Managing overtime on service calls with patience and not rushing the job.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.
- Travel within radius of YHIC locations.
- Basic Computer Skills with extensive focus on Microsoft Suite including Excel
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience installing and servicing windows, doors and baths.
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to insurance company.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment (up to approx. 80 lbs), work in confined spaces, bend frequently, and climb ladders as needed
- Consists of lifting/carrying and other physical requirements.
