Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring that all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Assist in managing inventory control by keeping track of supplies and reporting any shortages to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Provide recommendations on food pairings, coffee selections, and bar offerings based on guest preferences.
- Uphold all safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary practices, food service management, and budgeting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and bar service is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to assist in managing staff when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
