Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying paint and finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet our standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired results.
- Operate assembly line equipment and assist in the fabrication of components as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment, including forklifts and other machinery within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role within a factory or manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting applications.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to assemble components as part of the painting process when required.
- Experience working in an assembly line setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout the warehouse environment.
