Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within various facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, be skilled in using both hand and power tools, and have the ability to read schematics effectively. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of fire safety measures, ultimately protecting lives and property.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues within fire alarm systems.
- Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for clients.
- Collaborate with service technicians to address any deficiencies detected during inspections.
- Build relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and expert advice on fire safety compliance.
- Detect potential hazards or deficiencies in fire protection systems and recommend appropriate solutions.
Experience
- 5 years minimum fire sprinkler experience.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to clients.
- NICET Level II or higher. Must be able to obtain upon employment.
