Perform tenant improvement installations and modifications on fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, and pre-action systems
Perform NFPA 25 inspections, including Annual and Quarterly inspections, internal pipe inspections, obstruction investigations, hydro tests, and flow testing
Test and repair fire pumps to ensure proper operation and compliance
Test and repair backflow prevention assemblies in accordance with state and local regulations
Identify and resolve system issues, deficiencies, and code violations
Accurately document inspection findings, repairs, and recommendations using digital and jurisdictional reporting tools
Provide professional on-site customer communication and guidance
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in safe working order
Participate in on-call rotation for fire sprinkler service
Represent CSI with professionalism and a commitment to safety and service excellence
Minimum 4 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation and/or service
Valid Washington State Journey Level Fitter Card
Valid City of Seattle AS-3 Card
Valid NICET II Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems
Valid Washington State BAT (Backflow Assembly Tester) Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days
Valid Washington State Backflow Plumber Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, and 25
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
- May be required to use ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, fork trucks and other equipment.
- Ability to climb and work at heights and in small or confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft).
- Able to work outdoors in temperature changes and weather conditions or challenging work environments.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as required by the workload.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.
