Fleet Manager
REU Distribution is seeking a highly qualified Fleet Manager to provide leadership and oversight of our transportation operations. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of goods while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of fleet operations, including driver management, dispatch, scheduling, and routing.
- Ensure full compliance with all FMCSA, IFTA, DOT, and state transportation regulations.
- Oversee driver qualification files, hours-of-service logs, drug and alcohol testing programs, and internal/external safety audits.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules, vehicle inspections, and repair programs to maximize fleet reliability and longevity.
- Prepare, review, and submit required IFTA fuel tax reports and regulatory filings in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency, control costs, and enhance safety performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for drivers and support staff.
- Maintain accurate reporting and performance metrics to inform executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in fleet management or a related transportation leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of FMCSA, IFTA, and DOT compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with fleet management systems and reporting tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- CDL preferred but not required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
