Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Manager to manage to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing other employees that transport goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the company's reputation for quality service.
Duties: Manages the following:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
- Deliver packages to designated locations in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Experience
- Previous experience as a manager in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience using pallet jacks or similar loading equipment is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience in warehouse operations or courier services is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old
