Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part Time Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. A background in warehouse operations and route driving is required.
Preferable Hours M-TH 9am-2pm with some flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care of items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery driving, route driving, or courier services is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and forklift operation.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required, including push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Excellent math and time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to provide drug screening and background check upon selection.
