Cloverdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a committed and driven individual to serve as a Floor Administrator, supporting hall-level operations and acting as an integral extension of our facility leadership team. This position is part of a structured Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program, designed to prepare future leaders in long-term care. The development track spans 2 to 4 years and includes targeted training, real-time mentorship, and direct oversight from both the facility Administrator and the corporate operations team.
As Floor Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent and efficient operations across your assigned hall or unit. This includes overseeing staffing needs, coaching floor-level team members, managing real-time escalations, and ensuring adherence to corporate policies and regulatory compliance. The role plays a hands-on leadership function that supports both the Administrator and department heads in driving quality care and strong team performance.
This position is ideal for a candidate who has experience in a long-term care setting, demonstrates strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and is committed to growing into a future Administrator role. You will also participate in facility rounds, care meetings, compliance audits, and corporate initiatives as part of your leadership training.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate staffing, schedules, and floor support to ensure smooth shift transitions
Provide direct support to CNAs, LPNs, and other care staff, addressing concerns and removing barriers
Assist the Administrator with daily operations, compliance tracking, and escalation resolution
Support policy adherence, internal audits, QAPI processes, and leadership communications
Actively participate in AIT program learning goals and mentorship sessions
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Desire to grow into facility leadership through structured training
