The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment in assigned location(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by assigned location based on client requirements and business needs.
Work will be mostly performed during weekend days (either Saturday or Sunday for around 7-8 hours per shift) throughout the year (44 weeks). Opportunities for additional hours may be available at a later time.
PAY is $18.00- $20.00 an hour (depending on experience) + Transportation Allowance
Job Responsibilities:
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping
Operating heavy floor cleaning equipment
Use proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping & refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing) in compliance with principles of hard surface floor maintenance
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstering (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc….)
Operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule for cleaning of large area of floor surface
Follows all CCG safety standards, sanitation, and infection control standards and procedures and requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies
Moving room furniture around to clear space for cleaning floors
Restore room condition back to the original condition once floor care is complete
Perform routine operational maintenance of equipment
Other related tasks as required
Requirements:
Must be eligible to legally work in the USA
Must have previous proven experience as floor cleaning technician
Have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver's license
Team oriented, also can complete tasks alone
Self-starter and independent
Detail oriented, fast paced, but focused
Have an excellent work ethic
Honest and reliable
Comfortable taking responsibility for mistakes
Open to constructive feedback
Excellent attendance
Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
