Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, polished, and experienced Floor Manager to join our leadership team and oversee front-of-house operations. This role is vital to ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests and a productive, motivated environment for our staff. The ideal candidate has a background in upscale or fine dining and brings a guest-first mindset, operational discipline, and natural leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily front-of-house operations, ensuring a smooth and refined service flow
- Uphold Philippe Chow’s high standards in hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Train, mentor, and develop FOH staff in fine dining service, upselling, and guest engagement
- Act as the liaison between kitchen and service team for timing and dish presentation
- Address guest concerns and special requests with poise and professionalism
- Manage floor planning, reservations, and table pacing for optimal flow
- Monitor inventory and supply levels; assist with ordering and vendor relations
- Support beverage and bar service when needed; wine and cocktail knowledge preferred
- Analyze daily sales reports and labor metrics to support profitability goals
- Assist in executing promotional events and VIP experiences
Requirements & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a floor manager or similar role in fine or upscale dining
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, safety, and sanitation standards
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire excellence in others
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with a refined sense of hospitality and guest etiquette
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
- Wine, cocktail, and bar service knowledge is a strong plus
