Job Overview
Proper Polish is seeking a skilled and detail oriented Spray & Burnish Technician to deliver high quality floor care services at a commercial facility. The ideal candidate needs to have experience with hard surface floor maintenance, specifically spray buffing and high speed burnishing to restore shine and protect finishes.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
- Ensure proper floor preparation before and after burnishing.
- Perform spray buffing and high speed burnishing on VCT, terrazzo, and other hard floor surfaces.
- Maintain equipment used for floor care and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist with environmental services as needed to support overall facility cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Proficient in floor care techniques, including buffing and cleaning of various flooring materials.
- Experience with commercial cleaning practices and custodial services.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
