Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients across all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families.
- Administer injections and perform IV insertions as required.
- Assist in gastroenterology procedures and provide support in the operating room (OR).
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for patient documentation and management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in teaching opportunities within a teaching hospital setting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in performing physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Proficiency in administering injections and IV insertion techniques.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of gastroenterology practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to catheterize patients as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
