Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server, Expo and Host to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for great food, sports and guest relations, ensuring that every patron receives outstanding service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable moments for our guests while efficiently managing their dining needs.
Server Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Northstar POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining area, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Handle cash register transactions and manage cash handling processes efficiently.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in a fast paced dining environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential (Must have food handlers certificate)
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in cash handling and operating cash registers is beneficial.
