Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food production and packaging
- Ensure product quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Perform basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Summary
As a Food Production Worker, you will be integral to our food manufacturing process, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core skills in food production and processing will be essential in maintaining efficiency and quality. You will also apply your knowledge of FDA regulations and HACCP practices to comply with industry standards. With relevant skills in mechanical operation and packaging, you will contribute to a safe and productive work environment, helping us deliver exceptional food products to our customers.
Qualifications
- Experience in food production and manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of food processing and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and HACCP principles
- Understanding of CGMP and food safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
- Ability to operate forklifts and other packaging equipment
- Background in the food industry and food processing plants
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
