Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and efficiently to our guests, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and a passion for hospitality. In this position you will be cross trained as a host and can be scheduled for either position based on the restaurants needs. Must be available to work 4:30pm-9:30pm Tues- Friday and open availability on Saturday & Sunday. Hourly Pay $9.00 per hour plus tip outs!
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu items, specials, and any dietary restrictions.
- Support banquet operations as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met during events.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for guest services and providing exceptional customer experiences.
