Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to food safety, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help set up for banquets or special events as needed, ensuring all food items are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and provide assistance as required.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Experience
● Ability to work Thursday. through Saturday nights
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience using POS systems is a plus but not mandatory.
